Installation

Installing takes a couple of minutes: add the app, switch it on in your theme, confirm your plan, and add the Size chart block to your product page.

1. Install the app

Open Plug : Size Chart on the Shopify App Store (search for Plug : Size Chart) and click Install.
Review the permissions and click Install again. The app opens inside your Shopify admin.

Permissions the app asks for

Products — to save each size chart onto the products it applies to, so your theme can display it. The app doesn't change titles, prices, inventory or anything else about your products.
Files — to upload images and videos you add to a chart into your store's Content → Files, and to let you pick images you've already uploaded there.

The app doesn't read orders or customer data, and doesn't store any information about your shoppers.

2. Complete the welcome steps

The first time you open the app, a short three-step setup walks you through everything below:

Welcome — an overview of what you'll do next.
Enable the app in your theme — covered in step 3 below.
Confirm your plan — see Plans. No card is needed, and nothing is charged.

You can use Back to revisit a step, and Skip for now on the theme step if you'd rather do it later — the dashboard reminds you until it's done.

3. Enable the app in your theme

Your theme needs the app switched on before any chart can appear. It's a single toggle and doesn't change anything else about your theme.

On the Enable the app in your theme step (or the banner on the app's Home page), click Enable app. Your theme editor opens in a new tab with the App embeds panel open.
Find Plug : Size Chart and switch it on.
Click Save in the theme editor.
Go back to the app and click the refresh button next to Enable app. You'll see The app is enabled once the app can see it.

Note: The app checks your published theme. If you're setting up an unpublished theme, turn the embed on there too — each theme keeps its own app embed settings. The check shows We couldn't check your theme when Shopify doesn't answer in time; switch the embed on anyway and the dashboard will confirm it later.

4. Add the Size chart block to your product page

The app embed loads the chart's styles and scripts. The Size chart block decides where on the product page the chart (or the link to it) appears.

In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize on your theme.
From the page selector at the top, choose Products → Default product (or the product template you use).
In the Product information section, click Add block, open the Apps tab, and choose Size chart.
Drag the block to where you want it — just above or below the variant picker works well — and click Save.

Until a chart is assigned to the product you're previewing, the block shows a note in the theme editor only; shoppers never see an empty block. The block's settings (link or button, icon, popup or drawer, placement) are covered in Theme block.

Tip: Using more than one product template (for example a separate template for shoes)? Add the Size chart block to each template that should show a chart.
