COD fees
Fee Settings lets you charge shoppers extra for choosing Cash on Delivery, to cover handling or courier COD charges.
Choose a fee mode
- Static Fee — added through the shipping rate the shopper picks. Every plan.
- Dynamic Fee — worked out live at checkout from the order subtotal. Needs the Pro plan or higher and a Shopify Plus store.
Note: Only one mode can be on at a time. Turning on Dynamic Fee overrides the Static Fee settings, and the other way round.
Static Fee

| Status | Active applies the fee to the shipping rates you select. Inactive pauses it without deleting your setup. |
| Shipping method | The COD shipping rate(s) that carry the fee, e.g. Cash on Delivery, COD – Standard or COD – Express. While Status is Active you must select at least one, or the fee would never apply. |
| Refresh Shipping Rates | Reloads your Shopify shipping rates into the app. Use it after adding, editing or deleting a rate in Shopify. |
Tip: Your COD rate isn't in the list? Create it in Shopify under Settings → Shipping and delivery with a clear name (see the setup guide), then click Refresh Shipping Rates.
Dynamic Fee
Dynamic Fee adds a COD shipping option whose price is calculated at checkout, so you don't need to set up a fixed COD rate in Shopify.
Important: Dynamic Fee needs both the Pro plan (or higher) and a Shopify Plus store. On a non-Plus store it stays unavailable whatever your app plan.

| Shipping rate name | What shoppers see at checkout, e.g. Cash on Delivery Shipping. |
| Description (optional) | A short line under the rate name, e.g. what the fee covers. Leave it empty for a simple default. |
| Fixed fee | A flat amount on every COD order, in your store currency. Up to 100,000. |
| Percentage fee | A percentage (0–100) of the order subtotal. Use it alone or with the fixed fee; at least one must be above zero. |
The charge is fixed fee + (percentage × order subtotal). Click Save to switch it on; the app registers the live rate with Shopify for you.
Note: Because the rate is calculated live, check Shopify's backup rate option for the shipping zone (under Shipping and delivery) once, in case the calculation is ever briefly unavailable.
Tip: If you delete the Dynamic Fee shipping option in Shopify, the app notices and shows a banner so you can switch it back on.
