Installation

1. Install the app

1. Open Loyalvia on the Shopify App Store (search for Loyalvia) and click Install.
2. Review the permissions and click Install again. The app opens inside your Shopify admin.

Permissions the app asks for

• Customers (read) — to know who a member is and address them by name and email.
• Orders (read) — to award points when an order is paid, and take them back after a refund or cancellation.
• Products (read) — to pick the product a free product reward gives away, and read its current price when it's redeemed. The app never changes your products.
• Discounts (read and write) — to create the discount codes customers redeem their points for.

The app doesn't change your products, prices or theme files. What it stores and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

2. Complete the welcome steps

The first time you open the app, a short setup walks you through:

1. Welcome — what the program does and what comes next.
2. Enable the app in your theme — step 3 below.
3. Your plan — start on Free (or claim an early-bird spot, if any are left). See Plans & billing.

You can go Back to revisit a step, or Skip for now on the theme step. The dashboard reminds you until the widget is on.

3. Switch the widget on in your theme

The rewards button is a theme app embed. It's a single toggle and doesn't change anything else about your theme.

1. On the Enable the app in your theme step, click Enable app. Your theme editor opens in a new tab with the App embeds panel open.
2. Switch Loyalty program on.
3. Click Save in the theme editor.
4. Go back to the app and click the refresh button to check again. You'll see The app is enabled once the app can see it.
